Spiritual Director training 2012

I started Spiritual Director training with the Pacific Jubilee Program this past Spring being waved into the second year.  As a Psychotherapist and SE® student, the spiritual aspects of healing are generally overlooked.  Although I'm not a regular church-going person, I appreciate the ritual, ceremony and Biblical Readings.  The greatest source of community spirituality has been through land-based ceremony: the Sweat and the Fast have been the two ceremonies that have accelerated spiritual healing and maturation. Now, as I work to assist others with healing their spirit and soul, painting and crafts have become a greater need in my life.  And a good desire to have!  Lately, I thought about how art cards can be gentle reminders when they're place in strategic places in my home--kitchen, bathroom mirror, bedroom door...
