INDULGENCE II: looking into fear

INDULGENCE II: looking into fear” 15″x11″ Mixed Media on watercolour paper

The practice, that is simply following to observe and observing to see, takes one past the gates where the internal defenders of one’s outward persona keep one from truth, from what is actual.  Passing through the gates one sees what was defined as indulgence is simply fear.

The angel, the warrior and raven press one to look straight into the shape of fear.  Deep within feel feet planted on mother earth and clothed in acceptance.  Fear dissipates and there in the ashes is appreciation and gratitude for all that is beauty, for all that is good.
